i had one of the best new year's eve in a long time.

the funny part was that it was the most low key, unplanned night ever.

i had several different plans as you can see from the posts below, but due to weather, over thinking, preparing, traffic, and a huge feast from lunch that caused serious food coma induced nap till 7pm, i ended up nixing all plan options and joined my sister and her hubby for a nice dinner.

we went to the black market bistro and had a four course meal. delish. dinner consisted of good food, lots of laughter, and great company. we were all so at ease on one of the most craziest nights of the year. we returned home just in time to drink some bubbly, take a few photos, countdown to 2010, and talk to my parents on the web-cam.

i never once wished that i was celebrating in another way.
