no time better than the present.

starting today, im going to be proactive about my health.

i stepped onto the scale this morning and was digusted at the unsightly number. i have gained twenty lbs since my freshman year in college.

yes, i know, i say this all the time and i get all hyped up only to quit after day two. but im seriously going to try to incorporate some type of physical activity, better eating choices into my daily routine. after work today, i went for a jog. im not sure how far or how long i did, but its something. i dont even want to do this entirely on superficial reasons, more for health. everyone on my dad's side of the family seems to have heart disease or diabetes.

so today is day one. wish me luck.
